First steps and common questions for the Scanner, the Dex, and Orders for Whatnot, and a way to reach the person behind SuperRod.
SuperRod Scanner
A Chrome extension for card identification and public market references.
- Once its Chrome Web Store listing is available, install the extension and open it on the card page or Whatnot live show you want to inspect.
- Capture the card or choose an image. Use a clear frame with the whole card visible, then crop around the card.
- Review the suggested name, set, number, and language against the printed card. If the result is wrong or uncertain, use manual search.
- Open market references for the matching edition. Check saved readings in History; export or delete them there.
How do I scan a store page and compare prices?
Price references require a working SuperRod service connection configured in Settings. No service is connected by default; contact cardochoo@gmail.com if you need access. Read the privacy policy before granting access.
Open a store's card listings, open SuperRod, and choose Scan page. Keep the offers you want to inspect visible, then open a card's badge to review the store price, TCGplayer reference, and any available difference. Check the language, printing, and condition before comparing. No reference means no price was found; a reference alone does not establish a comparable price.
Store screenshots show prices at capture time. They do not establish current stock, a guaranteed discount, or affiliation with the pictured store.
Does SuperRod send my card images to AI services?
It can when you have saved a hosted SuperRod connection and granted host access. Assisted readings can run automatically while that connection is configured. Without a connection, those hosted readings are unavailable. Read the image-processing disclosure before connecting a service.
Is the result or market price guaranteed?
No. Glare, blur, small text, alternate printings, and similar artwork can cause errors. Compare the set, card number, language, finish, and condition yourself. Market references can be delayed or incomplete and are not an offer to buy or sell.
SuperRod Dex
An app for your Pokémon card collection, on your phone and on the web. It is in development and not publicly available yet.
How do I get access to the beta?
Email cardochoo@gmail.com with "SuperRod Dex" in the subject. There is no release date and no guaranteed response time.
Do I need an account?
You can start as a guest or sign in with an email and password. A guest collection cannot be reopened after you sign out, so create an account to keep it and open it on another device.
I forgot my password
Use password recovery on the sign-in screen; it sends a one-time link to your email. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder and then contact us.
How do I back up or export my collection?
Open Account, then Data. Backup and restore keeps everything in one file you can load again later, and Export collection saves a CSV for spreadsheets.
How do I stop sharing a list, or report a conversation?
Revoke a share link in Account, under Sharing. If a trade conversation is abusive, report it from the conversation or write to us.
How do I delete my account and data?
Open Account and choose Delete account. Your collection, photos, lists and shared links are erased and every login ends. If you cannot sign in, write to us from the email you signed in with. A guest collection has no email, so we may not be able to find or verify it. Read what is kept and for how long.
SuperRod Orders for Whatnot
A Chrome extension for your own purchase history, shipments, and spending.
- Once the Chrome Web Store listing is available, install the extension and pin it for easy access.
- Sign in to your own Whatnot account, then open your Whatnot orders. Let the page finish loading.
- Open SuperRod Orders for Whatnot and select Sync. Review your orders, use filters, and open tracking where a shipment includes a valid link.
- Use Settings to choose synchronization preferences. Automatic checks after Whatnot activity are enabled by default. Use Export to save visible orders as CSV or JSON.
Why does synchronization ask me to open Whatnot again?
The extension needs a current session from your signed-in Whatnot page. Open or reload the orders page, wait for it to load, and try Sync again. Never send support your password or session headers.
Why is a tracking link or an order missing?
The dashboard reflects what Whatnot returns. Some orders have no tracking link, filters can hide results, and large histories can be partially loaded. Check your filters and the sync status, then compare with your Whatnot orders page.
